Mid November until May is the best time for waterskiing in the sea depending on weather conditions, but it is now possible all year round with the newly opened Cableways Park. Set on a lake up to 15 skiers can enjoy cable skiing at any one time.

Anyone can enjoy snorkelling with a minimum of equipment and preparation i.e. a snorkel and some time. There are many islands within the reach of Phuket that have lots of shallow reefs ideal for snorkelling. Remember to wear a t-shirt or other sun protection as the tropical sun which ideal for displaying the fish at their best can be a hazard.

Diving can be experienced very close by from the dive centre in the Evason Resort with the Poseidon dive club.

Phuket has a fantastic windsurfing scene with many of the beaches offering shops, lessons and equipment. Together with flat seas, good winds and clean clear water you have the idea windsurfing location for beginners and experienced alike.
